If you have been following me for a while, you will know that I love to restyle rooms in our home, especially the kid’s rooms. As the children’s personality evolve and their interests change, I like to create their rooms which reflect their unique style and passions.

The theme for Hunter’s new room is a desert and rattan wonderland for our little global citizen. Hunter loves animals and is interested in all different kinds at the moment. He loves the idea of going to new places and talking about different countries especially Australia and Malta which is where a lot of our family is from. I included a reading corner because he loves books and reading to his little brother and sister. The space needed to have his ‘big boy toys’ (Archie and Evie are a little small for at the moment) they are all Montessori based pieces. The colour palette is warm, soft and friendly which represents his personality.

We were lucky enough to attend the new Freedom Furniture kid’s interior launch. It is a beautiful and well-crafted creation. There has been a lot of thought put into that has children’s safety at the forefront, with soft corners, organic materials that are easy to wash and a beautiful unisex colour palette. The idea of the creation is a continuation of a beautifully styled home, children’s rooms should fit in seamlessly to someone home.
